Human Resources Manager

Job Definition.

Objective :

Strengthen our administrative team and manage our human resources efficiently. You will oversee our Montpellier operations, currently consisting of 15 employees, with a projected headcount of 30 by 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment:
    • Actively participate in recruitment processes to attract top talent: draft job descriptions, choose appropriate channels for posting job ads (e.g., APEC, LinkedIn).
    • Ensure optimal onboarding for new employees (provide internal documents, collect administrative paperwork).
    • Create and manage access to company tools and platforms (local access badges, HR software, email addresses).

 

  • Administrative HR Management:
    • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding: register new hires with occupational health services, complete DPAE registration, and enroll employees in health insurance and pension plans.
    • Track medical visits.
    • Draft employment certificates and other documentation.
    • Monitor probation periods.

 

  • HR Policies and Training Development:
    • Contribute to the creation and implementation of HR policies.
    • Develop a training plan in collaboration with management.
    • Pre-select providers, submit proposals to our OPCO SANTE, and track funding and reimbursements.
    • Support management on all HR-related matters.

 

  • HR Documentation and Communications:
    • Draft employment offers, permanent contracts, contract amendments, and job descriptions.
    • Update essential HR documents (e.g., internal policies, welcome booklets, remote work policies, health and safety documents).
    • Write internal communications and notes.
    • Track professional interviews.

 

  • Payroll and Legal Support:
    • Collect payroll data (overtime, on-call, expense claims, sick leave, vacation) and ensure accurate reporting to the Accounting Firm, verifying and uploading information to the employee portal.
    • Maintain a monthly record of meal voucher distributions and place online orders with suppliers.
    • Organize elections for employee representative bodies.

 

  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Support the Office Manager and/or Marketing Manager in organizing workshops and seminars, including bookings (transport, venues, restaurants, hotels, catering).
    • Order office equipment and supplies.

Skills and Experience.

Essential skills

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Preferably a university degree in Human Resources (Master’s level).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and communication tools (Skype/Teams).
  • Excellent command of French (grammar, spelling, and writing skills).
  • Good level of English.
